Our co-host for War Days is the 16th Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Co. G, Jackson Rifles re-enactment group. We greatly appreciate their unflagging support of Old Clinton and their outstanding ability to organize and create a memorable event year after year. They also have made possible a partnership with local schools whereby as many as 700 students visit Clinton on the two days before War Days for a “Behind the Scenes at War Days” tour.
We also thank other re-enactment groups and Sons of Confederate Veterans members who add to the color and excitement of War Days. Thanks to Kim Beck of the Pine Barrens Volunteers Camp 2039, Sons of Confederate Veterans in Eastman GA, for sharing this with us. Also check out our Facebook page for comments and more pictures.
